Graphically assign decks and area loads – RISAFloor automatically manages load distribution and calculates LL reductions per code. You can move effortlessly back and forth between these three programs, creating and modifying your building model in any manner you wish.ĭesign your building floor-by-floor. RISAFloor links to RISA-3D for the design of the lateral system and nonstandard building components, and to RISAFoundation for design of the foundation system.
RISAFloor features automatic load attribution based on deck direction, automatic live load reductions, full floor vibration checks, full height column stack design (considering splice locations), export (and import) of CIS/2 detailing files, parent/child relationships between floors, exclusive or additive area loads, concrete rebar detailing, true spreadsheet editing, automatic code based wind and seismic load calculations and much more.
Operating System : Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10Īutomated Floor Layout and Optimization for Complete Building Systems
RISA Floor v12.02 Include Crack | Size 609 MB Presentation quality results are provided with interactive results review, quality rendered graphics and custom reports. Graphic display of the model, along with applied loads and rendering, is always available.
Spreadsheets make non-graphical editing easy, and verification a snap. You may also use powerful spreadsheets that RISA is known for. RISAFloor has full graphical modeling capabilities that let you draw and edit your model on the screen. At any time you may move between RISAFloor and RISA-3D to make changes and see how they carry through the project. RISA-3D integrates seamlessly with RISAFloor, allowing you great freedom in defining and analyzing both simple and complex systems. Working on one model, RISAFloor does all of the bookkeeping, letting you move seamlessly between RISAFloor and RISA-3D. RISAFloor gives you the ability to design steel, concrete, cold-formed steel, masonry, aluminum and timber all in one model while RISAFloor ES allows you to also design two-way concrete slabs within a multi-material building. RISAFloor will manage loads, design beams and columns, create quality CAD drawings, and automatically delivers RISA-3D the information that it needs for the design of lateral systems.
Now you can solve a static load combination with the loads at this point and investigate the member force diagrams, deflected shape, etc.RISAFloor designs floor systems and works hand in hand with RISA-3D and RISAFoundation to provide a more complete structural engineering software solution for building design. You now have a static load pattern that is identical to the moving load step location:
On the Home tab of the Ribbon toolbar, click on the Create Point Loads from Moving Loads button.Įnter which Basic Load Case you want the new point loads added to, the Moving Load pattern or load combination, and the Step Number then click Apply. Choose which step number you want to investigate. Notice that in the LC column, you will see both the governing load combination number and the governing moving load step number within that load combination. Once solved, choose your results to review and open that spreadsheet. For further instruction with using moving loads, see “How to Use Moving Loads?”. A common question we get in tech support is “how can I verify my moving load results?” We now have a feature that will allow you to quickly generate a static loading condition equivalent to the moving loads at any given step along their path so you can investigate the detailed results at this location.įirst, you will want to run your moving load combination in an Envelope or Batch + Envelope solution to get your governing results.
